Help Paying Your Telephone Bill in Washington County

Paying Your Phone Bill
Individuals or families whose income is at or below the current federal poverty level, (about $19,350 a year for a family of four,) and are on a state public assistance program can receive a reduction in their monthly bill for local residential telephone service. (But there’s no reduction for long-distance or special calling features, such as voice mail!) You can get $13.50 or more credited to your basic home phone bill each month from the Oregon Telephone Assistance Program (OTAP).
